Dr Brooke is the executive director of Rothschild Bioscience Managers Ltd (RBML), the manager of the Australian Bioscience Trust and Rothschild Bioscience Ventures II. RBML is also an adviser to other investment funds.

With more than 12 years of venture capital experience, Dr Brooke has been the founder, lead investor and director of bioscience based companies both in the US and Australia including Allos Therapeutics Inc, Accountable Oncology Inc, Health Care Financial Partners Inc, Bresagen Ltd, Southern Cross Biotech Ltd and eBioinformatics Inc.

Prior to joining Rothschild, together with Johnson & Johnson, he co-founded MedVest Inc, a US based early stage venture group.

A medical graduate of the University of Melbourne with 5 years of clinical experience, Dr Brooke holds an MBA from IMEDE (now IMD) in Switzerland. He is also a council member of the National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia.
