Company activities - KSC is a fund management company licensed by the Securities Commission. The company was a start-up with a focus on managing money for high net worth individuals. Today the company manages over $250m in assets.

Responsibilities - I was a partner and managed money as well as heading the marketing effort. All partners shared overall responsibility. My role is akin to an executive chairman of the firm.

Company : Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd.
Position : Internal auditor, Investment manager

Company activities -The company was the holding company for the Ananda Krishanan group of companies. The company controlled the Tanjong Group as well as KLCC, ASTRO and Binariang.

Responsibility - In my first stint with the group I established an internal audit department and spent one and half years with the group. In my second stint I was directly responsible for the following;

A $200m portfolio of publicly traded securities
The development of Tanjong's new head quarters building
Represented the company on the operating boards of KLCC

Company : Interpacific Securities, Kimara Securities
Position : Dealing Director
Company activities - Companies were in the stockbroking industry.

Responsibility - I joined a large team of brokers who dealt primarily with institutions. We had a 6% market share as a group. We left Interpacific to manage Kimara. There we ran the operations for the Pengkalan group.

Company : Donsons Sdn Bhd.
Position : Manager
Company activities - The company was a holding company for a family group. The company had interest in property development, shipping, and plantations.

Responsibility - Initially I assisted in managing the plantation investment. Later I helped restructure and repay $60m of debt built up by the previous management. Dealt daily with all the major banks to resolve the issues.
