Kim An
Cambodian Minister, Secretary of State, Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

 His
Excellency Uch Kim An graduated from the Royal School
of Administration and the Adelaide University (Columbo
Plan Scholar). Before 1975 and since 1979, Uch Kim An
has worked at the Foreign Ministry.
In the early 1980s he was Director of
the International Organisations Department and was appointed
personal secretary to Second Prime Minister Hun Sen.
In the early 1990s he was appointed Vice
Minister in charge of the Cabinet and, since the formation
of the Royal Government of Cambodia in 1993, Secretary
of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
From 1998 to present he has served as
Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International
Cooperation.
